The M8A1 is a marksman rifle in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, returning from Black Ops II where it was previously an assault rifle. It fires in four-round bursts at a very high rate of fire within each burst, balanced by a cooldown between bursts. It is modeled on the real-world Heckler & Koch XM8.
