Shotguns need 60 Point Blank Kills, Launchers 35 Kills/Streaks, and Melee and Specials 60 Kills — one running stat per weapon.

What's the fastest way to unlock Mountain?
Since the counter is cumulative, every headshot you landed on the earlier tiers already counts toward 60, so this rung usually falls mid-grind without a dedicated session. If you are pushing it deliberately, guns with controllable recoil let you hold aim at head height instead of fighting the climb, and shotgun users should stay inside buildings where point-blank range is the default.
