How Black Ops 2 camos work
Call of Duty: Black Ops II has 40 listed multiplayer weapons across eight classes: 39 base weapons and the Peacekeeper from Revolution. Each weapon has a 15-camo path through Gold, while Diamond is earned by completing the required Gold weapons in its class. This directory also documents 25 Personalization Pack camos and four legacy promotional finishes, for 45 selectable camo entries in total.
Every Black Ops 2 camo is listed in the camo directory with its original unlock requirement. Earned and paid-DLC availability is identified separately for each finish.
The Black Ops 2 weapon roster
The weapon list covers all 40 weapons by class, each with its multiplayer availability up to the Level 55 cap, role and camo eligibility.
The original game released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Wii U. The 2026 PS4/PS5 release supports cross-generation multiplayer between those PlayStation versions, but platform storefronts and legacy entitlements differ. The challenge requirements here follow the original final multiplayer rules rather than assuming that every store offers the same downloadable content.
