4 Squad Points: MP-443 Grach.

5 Squad Points: P226.

6 Squad Points: .44 Magnum, Ameli, Bulldog, CBJ-MS, FAD, MR-28, SA-805, USR.

7 Squad Points: AK-12, FP6, L115, M27-IAR, MK14 EBR, Panzerfaust, PDW, Remington R5, Vector CRB.

8 Squad Points: IA-2, K7, LSAT, Lynx, MSBS, MTS-255, Riot Shield, Vepr.

Levels, prestige and the grind

Level cap: 60. Prestige: 10 Prestige levels in the original multiplayer progression, with the squad system linking soldiers to Prestige milestones. Most base weapons are purchased in Create-a-Soldier with Squad Points rather than unlocked at a player level. The three post-launch weapons require their associated DLC; the Combat Knife appears when the primary slot is left empty. Checked and current — July 2026.

Ghosts uses a squad of soldiers for multiplayer progression. Gold Combat Knife at Prestige 5 and Gold PDW at Prestige 10 are dedicated reward variants, not ordinary Gold-camo completions. Per-weapon camouflage progress should not be confused with a soldier's Prestige state.

Ghosts released across Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Wii U. Multiplayer populations, backward compatibility, downloadable-content stores and entitlement behavior differ by platform, so this guide reports the original multiplayer systems and qualifies current access instead of assuming every add-on remains purchasable everywhere.
