The FAMAS is available once Create-a-Class opens at Level 4 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It is a precise three-round-burst rifle with strong reach and very little recoil inside each burst. A well-placed burst can settle an engagement quickly, especially when the first rounds land high. It rewards players who pre-aim lanes and time each trigger pull instead of forcing repeated bursts at close range. Its camo track finishes at Fall (250 headshots with this weapon).
