How do you unlock the ACR?

The ACR unlocks at Level 48 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It is MW2's easiest assault rifle to keep precisely on target. Its exceptionally low recoil and useful range suit lane control, sustained tracking and players who value consistency over raw damage. It does not hit as hard as the SCAR-H or TAR-21, so its advantage comes from landing more of the rounds fired. Its camo track finishes at Fall (250 headshots with this weapon).

Every camo-eligible weapon earns Woodland (5 headshots), Digital (15 headshots), Urban (30 headshots), Blue Tiger (75 headshots), Red Tiger (150 headshots), Fall (250 headshots) in order — headshots are cumulative, so one grind clears the whole ladder. On the ACR the final tier is Fall — 250 headshots with this weapon.
