Golden Dragon
A gold dragon-scale finish — overlapping scaled plating with a warm metallic sheen.
How to unlock: Golden Dragon is Zombies' first mastery tier, earned per weapon. Complete a gun's nine Military and three Special camo challenges in Zombies, then its Tier 1 Mastery challenge, to unlock Golden Dragon for that weapon.
Fastest grind: Zombies camos come far faster than Multiplayer thanks to dense hordes — high rounds and tight choke points let you stack kills and criticals quickly. Pack-a-Punch and the right ammo mod make specific challenge types (burns, explosions, criticals) easy to target without dying.
Bloodstone
A gem-like Zombies camo with a deep red shimmer, like polished bloodstone catching firelight.
How to unlock: Bloodstone is the Tier 2 Zombies mastery camo. Take a full weapon class to Golden Dragon, then complete the Tier 2 Mastery challenge in Zombies to earn it.
Fastest grind: Build a dependable high-round setup — a strong field upgrade and ammo mod — so survival isn't the bottleneck. Train the horde into a tight group and clear class challenges in bulk rather than chasing them one match at a time.
Doomsteel
An industrial, battle-worn steel Zombies finish — scratched, riveted plating that looks dragged through the apocalypse.
How to unlock: Doomsteel is the Tier 3 Zombies mastery camo, unlocked once you've mastered 30 weapons in Zombies and cleared the Tier 3 Mastery challenge.
Fastest grind: Consistency beats heroics — repeatable high-round runs on a map you know inside-out will out-pace risky strategies. Rotate weapons each run so every gun is chipping away at the 30-weapon total instead of one carrying the load.
Infestation
The color-changing Zombies mastery camo — a living, shifting finish that crawls across the weapon.
How to unlock: Infestation is the Zombies mastery camo and the mode's top reward. There's no extra challenge — it unlocks automatically once you've earned mastery on 30 weapons in Zombies.
Fastest grind: Since it's the payoff for the whole Zombies grind, front-load the weapons you like least so the finish line lands on your favourites. Lean on a reliable high-round farm to close out the final weapon count.
How Zombies camos work
Every weapon climbs the same path. First earn its 9 Military camos (Underbrush → Ruby Snake) by getting critical kills with that gun — shotguns use point-blank kills, snipers use one-shot kills. That unlocks the weapon’s 3 Special camos, each with its own challenge. Master 30 weapons in Zombies and the top mastery tier above unlocks automatically.
