The Desert Eagle unlocks at Level 62 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It is a seven-round high-power sidearm for confident close-range shot placement. It has strong hip-fire potential and useful penetration, but very high recoil can throw consecutive shots off target. Its small magazine and limited attachment set make it a precision backup rather than a sustained-fire secondary. It does not take camo.
