Desert camo is a default finish for each of MW2 (2009)'s 23 camo-compatible primary weapons. It requires no headshots or Expert challenge. You can select it once Create-a-Class opens at Level 4 and the chosen weapon itself is unlocked; later rank-locked weapons remain unavailable until their listed level.
