How do you unlock Arctic?
Arctic camo is available by default on all 23 camo-compatible primary weapons in MW2 (2009). It has no headshot requirement or Expert challenge. To equip it, Create-a-Class must be open at Level 4 and the specific weapon must be available, so higher-level weapons still follow their normal rank unlock.

What does Arctic camo look like?
A very light cold-weather finish. The multiplayer texture appears lighter than the Arctic finishes used in Campaign and Special Ops, and coverage varies by weapon.
How do you make progress toward Arctic?
Do not treat Level 4 as an Arctic challenge. Level 4 opens Create-a-Class; the selected weapon must also be available. Once both conditions are met, choose Arctic directly from that primary weapon's Camo menu.
Arctic has no headshot counter or XP award. Desert and Arctic are independent default choices; neither gates the other.
