How does the RW1 play in Advanced Warfare?

RoleSingle-shot break-action railgun pistol
Real-world basisA fictional or substantially redesigned Advanced Warfare pistol; no exact production counterpart is asserted
StrengthsEach shot is followed by a break-action reload, making the pistol a high-commitment precision sidearm; The RW1 has a defined single-shot break-action railgun pistol purpose instead of being treated as interchangeable class filler
TradeoffsA miss leaves no immediate second shot and turns the reload into the defining vulnerability; The RW1 still depends on route choice and first-shot discipline in Advanced Warfare's fast Exo-movement fights
Build and setup guidanceKeep the sidearm setup simple and responsive so the draw solves an immediate close or finishing fight; Choose sight or handling support according to whether the pistol is a true backup or the focus of the class
Challenge noteThe RW1 uses the handgun post-patch challenge profile. Gold is a separate final challenge, then Diamond requires every camouflage challenge on this weapon. Personalization camos and Sentinel do not count.
Progression tipCamo progress is stored on the RW1. Its Diamond completion counts toward Royalty because it is a camo-eligible launch weapon.
Camo tipTreat the draw like one deliberate precision attempt and return to cover as soon as the shot breaks.
Compared withThe Atlas 45 and 1911 provide repeat semi-auto shots; the RW1 makes one railgun round carry the exchange.
