How does the Atlas 45 play in Advanced Warfare?

RoleSemi-automatic backup pistol
Real-world basisA fictional or substantially redesigned Advanced Warfare pistol; no exact production counterpart is asserted
StrengthsIt supplies a conventional semi-automatic sidearm rhythm within the futuristic roster; The Atlas 45 has a defined semi-automatic backup pistol purpose instead of being treated as interchangeable class filler
TradeoffsA rushed trigger and poor transition cannot substitute for entering the backup fight with the sights ready; The Atlas 45 still depends on route choice and first-shot discipline in Advanced Warfare's fast Exo-movement fights
Build and setup guidanceKeep the sidearm setup simple and responsive so the draw solves an immediate close or finishing fight; Choose sight or handling support according to whether the pistol is a true backup or the focus of the class
Challenge noteThe Atlas 45 uses the handgun post-patch challenge profile. Gold is a separate final challenge, then Diamond requires every camouflage challenge on this weapon. Personalization camos and Sentinel do not count.
Progression tipCamo progress is stored on the Atlas 45. Its Diamond completion counts toward Royalty because it is a camo-eligible launch weapon.
Camo tipSwap before the primary is fully empty when the opponent is already close, then pace the finishing shots.
Compared withThe RW1 commits to a single railgun shot; the Atlas 45 allows ordinary semi-auto corrections.
