To unlock Oozed in Black Ops 7’s Camo Costume Party event, you need all four mode mastery camos: Gravebloom, Grubs, Malignant and Death Row. Each requires nine challenges in its own mode. The Arcblade has a different requirement: complete any nine event camo challenges.

We checked the requirements against a Boss-supplied game recording captured on September 24, 2026. The screenshots below show the actual event menu, including the separate mastery, secret-camo and Arcblade conditions. This is a reward-planning guide; individual weapon-class objectives should still be checked in your event menu.
How do you unlock Oozed?
The secret reward tile says to obtain every mastery camo. In the same recording, the purple secret reward is identified as Oozed in the reward feed and camo preview. To complete that route, finish the nine event challenges in each of Co-op & Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.
The 36-challenge total comes from four sets of nine shown in-game.

If you have Grubs already, your Multiplayer mastery is covered. For Oozed, check the other three mode tabs instead of continuing to grind Multiplayer and expecting another mode’s mastery to appear.
Does completing nine challenges unlock Arcblade or Oozed?
Nine event camo challenges meet the Arcblade requirement. They do not, by themselves, meet Oozed’s all-mastery condition.
The Arcblade tile uses “any 9,” so its requirement does not demand all four modes. Finishing a complete nine-challenge mode also satisfies that count and earns the matching mode mastery. Splitting your nine completions between modes can meet the Arcblade count without finishing any single mode mastery.
For example, five Multiplayer completions plus four Zombies completions meet the stated nine-challenge count without finishing either mode mastery. This follows the displayed requirement; we did not test that exact split.
Which reward path should you follow?
- Pick your finish line. Choose Arcblade, a specific mode mastery or Oozed. These are different amounts of work.
- Check what is already complete. Read the event’s mode tabs and completed challenge tiles before choosing your next objective.
- Read the exact weapon-class task. Select the relevant tile and check its conditions. A challenge in one mode is not evidence that the corresponding task is complete in another.
- Work toward the smallest scope that meets your goal. For Grubs, finish Multiplayer’s set. For Death Row, finish Warzone’s set. For Oozed, keep all four mastery requirements on your checklist.
- Confirm the reward in the event menu. Check the completed tile and your camo collection before moving on.
A real example: the Multiplayer Assault Rifles tile in our September 24 recording asks for 100 Assault Rifle eliminations in T.E.D.D. Trials to earn Gray Matter for that class. The playlist condition matters as much as the elimination count. Read the whole objective before choosing a match; do not assume ordinary Multiplayer eliminations meet that particular task.
Your remaining tasks and the modes you play comfortably determine which order makes sense. We have not timed every challenge, so this guide does not claim one route is fastest for everyone.
Do the event camos work on every weapon?
Read the equip text for the reward you are unlocking. The captured standard challenge rewards specify a weapon class, while the mastery reward in the recording says it can be equipped to any weapon. Those are different scopes.
Do not assume that seeing a camo design in the event menu means you have unlocked it for every weapon class. Check the challenge tile and its equip description together. For the wider camo collection, use the Black Ops 7 camo directory. The separate BO7 camo tracker covers core weapon-camo progress; your event menu is the reference for Costume Party completion.
When should you check the event deadline?
Check the live in-game event countdown before planning another session or ordering completion help. Activision’s Season 06 announcement and BO7 patch notes describe the event and rewards, but the versions reviewed for this guide do not establish an exact closing timestamp.
We are therefore not presenting a reported end time as confirmed. An older countdown screenshot is also not a substitute for the timer in your current game. Recheck before committing time to a full four-mode finish.
What should you check before buying Costume Party completion?
Match the package to the reward you want. A single-mode package and an all-four-mode package cover different scopes. If you want Oozed, make sure the agreed work covers every remaining mastery, rather than assuming one mode finishes the event.
Boss’s Costume Party listing currently offers individual mode selections and an all-four-mode option. It describes PlayStation and Xbox account-recovery delivery: a booster signs in to complete the selected work. Check the supported platform, account-access requirements, current availability and final scope before ordering. Ask support to confirm timing against the live event window if completion is close to the deadline.

Can I unlock Oozed by playing only Multiplayer?
Not from Multiplayer alone. Its event mastery is Grubs; Oozed requires the mastery rewards from all four modes.
Can I unlock Arcblade without completing the whole event?
Yes. The in-game requirement is any nine event camo challenges. Full-event completion goes beyond that requirement.
Does this guide list every weapon-class objective?
No. It explains which completion path leads to each mastery reward, Arcblade and Oozed. Read the individual event tiles for the exact objectives and progress on your account.
