How do you unlock the M240?
The M240 unlocks at Level 52 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It pours rounds down a lane faster than the other MW2 LMGs. Its large belt supports sustained pressure, but the fire rate burns ammunition quickly and produces more recoil than the MG4. Two MW2 attachment bugs also matter: its Silencer and FMJ do not provide their intended benefits. Its camo track finishes at Fall (250 headshots with this weapon).

Every camo-eligible weapon earns Woodland (5 headshots), Digital (15 headshots), Urban (30 headshots), Blue Tiger (75 headshots), Red Tiger (150 headshots), Fall (250 headshots) in order — headshots are cumulative, so one grind clears the whole ladder. On the M240 the final tier is Fall — 250 headshots with this weapon.
