How do you unlock the AA-12?

The AA-12 unlocks at Level 18 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It is MW2's fully automatic shotgun, designed to clear tight rooms with immediate follow-up blasts. Its eight-round box magazine empties quickly and it starts with very little reserve ammunition, while short effective range limits open-lane use. It is most valuable as a panic secondary or aggressive building-clearing tool. It does not take camo.
