How do you unlock the Reaver?

The Reaver belongs to the starting Create-a-Class weapon pool in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It is a semi-automatic entry shotgun: A ready follow-up supports room clears without a pump cycle. Use that stable behavior rather than relying on patch-sensitive damage claims. Its camo track finishes at Neon Tiger (Get 3 kills without dying 20 times). Complete every camo challenge on it and Gold unlocks. Earn Gold on every camo-eligible launch weapon required in its category for Diamond. Complete the required base-game class mastery route to earn Black Sky.

Reviewed July 30, 2026. Platform, Quartermaster, Salvage and Mission Team systems were checked against Activision material. Weapon ranks, mechanics and the mastery sequence were reconciled against dedicated historical references. Camo rarity and catalog membership were checked against the complete camouflage record; editorial setup advice avoids patch-sensitive numeric claims.

How does the Reaver play in Infinite Warfare?

Rolesemi-automatic entry shotgun
Real-world basisFictional Infinite Warfare weapon; no one-to-one real-world model is asserted.
StrengthsThe Reaver has a clear semi-automatic entry shotgun identity; A ready follow-up supports room clears without a pump cycle
TradeoffsRepeated shots cannot rescue a challenge taken beyond the close route; Its shotgun role still depends on choosing the correct route and first engagement
Useful setupFavor a readable center-screen reference and handling for deliberate room entries; Plan the route around cover; attachments cannot rescue an open long-range challenge
Challenge noteComplete the 14 Multiplayer challenge camos on this weapon for Gold. It counts toward the original 35-weapon Black Sky route.
Progression tipGold is earned per weapon, Diamond covers its category, Solar covers the original non-Classic categories, and Black Sky adds the original Classic category. This launch weapon participates in that original scope.
Camo tipTrack through one measured correction, then return to cover if the target escapes.
Compared withThe Banshee is pump-action; the Reaver preserves a semi-auto follow-up.

Reaver — common questions

How do you unlock the Reaver in Infinite Warfare?

The Reaver is available in the starting Create-a-Class pool once Create-a-Class opens in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer. The level cap is 55, and prestige is 10 standard Prestige levels, followed by Master Prestige progression. Each standard Prestige grants a Permanent Unlock Token; odd-numbered entries also supply Classic Weapon Unlock Tokens.

How do you unlock camos on the Reaver?

Camo progress is per-weapon. Desert, Mars, Arctic Tech and Wilderness track initial kills or streak destruction. Mojave through Zebra use class-specific objectives, followed by Autumn, Whiteout, Bengal, Murdered Out and Neon Tiger. Gold is per weapon and Diamond normally covers one category; Combat Knife Diamond instead requires all original non-Classic secondaries, and Classic Diamond requires all six original Classic weapons. Solar covers the original non-Classic categories and Black Sky completes the original Classic step. Quartermaster, Mission Team, Zombies, event and promotional camos are not prerequisites for Gold, Diamond, Solar or Black Sky. On the Reaver the final tier is Neon Tiger — Get 3 kills without dying 20 times. After that, Gold needs every camo challenge on the weapon done, and Diamond needs Gold on every camo-eligible launch weapon required in its category, and Black Sky requires mastery across the base-game weapon classes.
