How does the NA-45 play in Advanced Warfare?

RoleTwo-shot explosive-system sniper rifle
Real-world basisA fictional or substantially redesigned Advanced Warfare sniper rifle; no exact production counterpart is asserted
StrengthsThe first round primes a surface or target area and the second catalyst round detonates the pair; The NA-45 has a defined two-shot explosive-system sniper rifle purpose instead of being treated as interchangeable class filler
TradeoffsA lone primer shot does not deliver the intended explosive sequence, so missed pairing wastes the weapon's identity; The NA-45 still depends on route choice and first-shot discipline in Advanced Warfare's fast Exo-movement fights
Build and setup guidancePrioritize a sight and handling setup that lets you settle cleanly before the shot; Use the second attachment slot to support the map's repeatable lane rather than chasing an unsupported damage claim
Challenge noteThe NA-45 uses the sniper post-patch challenge profile. Gold is a separate final challenge, then Diamond requires every camouflage challenge on this weapon. Personalization camos and Sentinel do not count.
Progression tipCamo progress is stored on the NA-45. Its Diamond completion counts toward Royalty because it is a camo-eligible launch weapon.
Camo tipPlace the primer where the opponent must move, then land the catalyst within the detonation relationship instead of treating each round like a normal sniper shot.
Compared withThe Atlas 20mm is a direct shoulder-fired semi-auto rifle; the NA-45 is built around a linked two-round explosive interaction.
