The final roster, launch access gates and post-patch class challenge matrix were reconciled against dedicated historical references and individual camouflage records. Weapon advice is editorial; unsupported damage and magazine statistics are intentionally omitted.

How does the MAAWS play in Advanced Warfare?

RoleLaser-guided launcher
Real-world basisA fictional or substantially redesigned Advanced Warfare launcher; no exact production counterpart is asserted
StrengthsThe projectile can be guided with the launcher's laser after firing; The MAAWS has a defined laser-guided launcher purpose instead of being treated as interchangeable class filler
TradeoffsStaying exposed to guide the shot can be more dangerous than the launch itself; The MAAWS still depends on route choice and first-shot discipline in Advanced Warfare's fast Exo-movement fights
Setup notesBuild the rest of the class to create safe reload and lock-on windows; the launcher itself fills a specialized slot; Treat equipment and positioning as the supporting setup because ordinary gun attachments are not the core of this weapon
Challenge noteThe MAAWS uses the launcher post-patch challenge profile. Gold is a separate final challenge, then Diamond requires every camouflage challenge on this weapon. Personalization camos and Sentinel do not count.
Progression tipCamo progress is stored on the MAAWS. Its Diamond completion counts toward Royalty because it is a camo-eligible launch weapon.
Camo tipFire from cover and guide only as long as the correction is useful, then break sight before return fire arrives.
Compared withThe Stinger M7 locks before launch; the MAAWS lets the user steer with a laser after the shot.

M1 Irons has its own final challenge profile, and the twelve later Supply Drop weapons were released only on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. On the MAAWS the final tier is Gold — 5 Recon Drones or Assault Drones destroyed.
