How do you unlock the M9?
The M9 is available once Create-a-Class opens at Level 4 in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It is the capacity-first pistol in original COD4 multiplayer. Its 15-round magazine, the largest among the standard sidearms, and low recoil make it forgiving when a primary runs dry. Its effective reach is shorter than the USP .45, so it works best as a close-range emergency weapon. It does not take camo.

What level does the M9 unlock at in COD4?
The M9 is available once Create-a-Class opens at Level 4 in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare multiplayer. The level cap is 55, and prestige is console only (up to 10). PC has none.
Does the M9 take camos?
No — the M9 cannot equip weapon camouflage in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It uses its own weapon challenges instead.
