How do you unlock the M1911 .45?

The M1911 .45 unlocks at Level 16 in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It is a compact close-range backup with the same basic damage profile as the M9 and USP .45. It has less muzzle climb and more dependable hip-fire than the USP, but its eight-round magazine leaves little room for missed shots. Its range also falls short of the USP, making it better for close engagements. It does not take camo.
