How do you unlock the TMP?

The TMP unlocks at Level 58 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009). It is a late-unlock automatic machine pistol built around low recoil and accurate aimed fire. It can place a quick controlled stream on target, but the 15-round magazine disappears rapidly and its damage is modest for such a late weapon. Treat it as a precise emergency backup, not a full substitute for a primary SMG. It does not take camo.
